STAR News-Neilson Opinion Poll: 2012 Assembly Elections

25th Jan 2012: Star-News Opinion poll released today suggests that BJP is on its way back in Uttarakhand, while Congress will make big improvements in its tally since 2007 polls.

Star News Opinion Poll suggests that BJP will gain 4 seats as compared to its 2007 tally this time and may get 39 seats, while Congress will gain double the number of seats than BJP, but will still remain second with 29 seats. the tally of “Others” will reduce from 14 to just 2.

Uttarakhand will go to polls on 30th Jan with voting in 70 constituencies from 13 districts of Uttarakhand. BJP won the majority in 2007 with 34 seats while Congress emerged second with 21 seats. .
