Haryana

Haryana, as a state came into being on 1 November 1966 due to the reorganisation of the Punjab state. The state was the home of the legendary Bharata dynasty, which has given the name Bharat to India. Haryana is one of states which promote industrial development and also launched a major inititative to become an IT hub in the northern India. Its population is 21,144,564 habitants and area of the state is 44,212 sq km. Number of parliamentary constituencies from the state are 10. Principal language of the state is Hindi.
