Uttarakhand Kranti Dal (UKKD)

Uttrakhand Kranti Dal (UKKD) was formed in 1979 and has played a pivotal role in getting the state status for the Hill districts of Uttar Pradesh.  UKKD is the partner of BJP led coalition Government in Uttrakhand.  

This time (General Elections 2009), UKKD contested at 5 seats in Uttrakhand and failed to win any one of them.
