United Goan Democratic Party (UGDP)

United Goan Democratic Party (UGDP) is one of the recognized regional parties in the state of Goa. It was one of the strong political force in the Goa state. In the last assembly elections which it fought in alliance with BJP, it managed to win only 1 out of 40 seats. In the last General Elections, it failed to win thecontested seat.

This time (General Elections 2009), UGDP could not win the only seat it contested from Goa.
