Pattali Makkal Katchi
Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) is a political party in the Tamil Nadu state. From 1999-2003, the party was a member of NDA, but in 2004, was a member of UPA. The party was launched in 1980 by Dr. S. Ramdoss.
Recently, PMK has announced that it will contest the forthcoming elections in alliance with ADMK led front and left UPA on March 26, 2009.
In 2009 General Elections, PMK contested 7 seats from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. It could not manage to win any of the seat this time.
