Manipur People’s Party

Manipur People's Party (MPP) is a political party in the state of Manipur.  The party was laid down by the group of rebels from the Indian National Congress on December 26, 1968.  The party got 5 of the 60 seats in Manipur state elections in February 2007.

In 2009 General Elections, MPP contested only 1 seat from Inner Manipur parliamentary constituency and could not win this time.
