All India Forward Block

All India Forward Block (AIFB) is one of regional political party with Indian socialistic ideology. It has its main political presence in the states of  West Bengal, Tripura, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. It was formed in 1939 as a breakaway group from Indian National Congress. It is a part of the Left Front and currently member of the CPM led coalition government in the state.

In the 2004 general elections, it won 3 seats, all of them coming from the West Bengal.

In General Election 2009, it contested on 21 seats throughout India, but could only win 2 seats from West Bengal.
