An opinion poll survey conducted by ABP News and AC Neilsen across 28 cities during April-May was released earlier this week on the eve of completion of 4 years of UPA-II. Results of the survey points to possibility of a hung parliament with no clear winner.
The results of the survey suggest that the UPA may slide down to 136 seats whereas NDA may get 206 seats. Regional parties are expeceted to get 160 odd seats and may play an important role in the formation of the next government.
The Left parties are also projected to perform better with around 30 seats.
According to the results of the survey, BJP could get 28 percent of the vote share whereas Congress would manage only 20 percent.
The survey found that Narendra Modi is the popular choice (17% ) for the PM post whereas Manmohan Singh came second with 16%.Rahul Gandhi came distant third with 13%.
